JOSHUA SMIRA

I have been working as a Loan Officer since 2013 and have truly enjoyed every moment of it. My passion is educating borrowers and making their dreams come true, whether it's buying their starter-home or doing a cash-out refinance to remodel it into their dream home. Every file and every client is different, so I enjoy the challenge of it all. I love finance and I'm always happy to discuss ways to help people save money. I eat, sleep, and breathe mortgages.

I started off by selling cars in college, which kicked off the drive to pursue financing. As I worked my way up, I became the Finance Manager at the dealership. This is where I fell in love with working one-on-one with borrowers. I have since worked as a Dealer Relationship Manager for an auto finance company, while originating mortgage loans with Reliant Mortgage for 6 years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University.  My hobbies are working (believe it or not), fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

My wife, Ali, and I both grew up in South Louisiana, and we are happy to be able to serve our community in the best way we know how.
